In less than a week, we will bid farewell to the year of 2023 and welcome in 2024.

This has been a great year of innovation in the tech space and hints of even more great ideas await us in 2024.

I have been building the Mustafaa Talks Tech platform throughout 2023 as a way of sharing my budding tech knowledge, digital marketing skills, informing the masses of opportunities in the tech space and inspiring others to take the leap into tech.

I believe that we are living in the most amazing time ever for content creation. Your smartphone can literally serve as a production studio for you as a budding content creator and content marketer.

With your smartphone you have access to a video recorder, audio recorder, camera, video production software, blogging tools, podcasting tools, video broadcasting tools and more though various apps.

While reflecting on the above realities, I came up with the meme image used in this blog post.

It is my mission to both educate and inspire you to use your smartphone in a smarter way to tell your story, build your personal brand and connect with your online tribe

In 2024, I want to challenge you to start telling your story through the available tech and digital tools. Your story can be someone’s medicine, meaning your knowledge could be the answer to someone’s prayers for guidance in a particular field.

During the pandemic, podcasting was therapeutic as it allowed me to be introspective of my inner self. Through my introspection, I was able to produce content that gave healing to my audience during the pandemic.

Podcasting served the purpose of story telling, but YouTube provided me another dimension to giving of myself.

In addition to hearing my voice, video allowed my audience to see my facial expression, get my body language as they took in my words spoken.

Since people learn in different ways, the more options you give your audience, you create the opportunity for more people to learn from you.
